IHS Markit reported that RK Natural Resources LLC has set production casing at the first of three deeper pool tests in southwestern Indiana’s Sisson Consolidated Field. The Knox County well, #2 Roy & Bernice Schenk, was drilled to a 2,750 ft with 5 1/2-in. casing set on bottom. Based on depths of other wells roughly 3 miles away, RK Natural Resources’ venture could tap pays in New Albany Shale. The expected producer is in Section 4-1n-10w. The Mount Carmel, Ill.-based company has spud #1 Roy & Bernice Schenk in Section 4 and it is targeting Geneva oil pays with a proposed depth is 3,305 ft. RK’s third proposed venture, #3 Roy & Bernice Schenk will be in Section 4 and it has a planned depth of 3,305 ft.
