Description

A Phantom Field discovery was announced by Olifant Energy LLC, its first operated well in Ward County (RRC Dist. 8), Texas. The #1H Olifant University 25-18 flowed 1.046 bbl of 42-degree-gravity crude, 1.033 MMcf of gas and 3.529 Mbbl of water per day. Production is from fracture-stimulated Wolfcamp perforations at 15,389-18,249 ft. The Delaware Basin well is in Section 25, Block 18, University Lands Survey, A-U104. It was drilled to the southeast to 18,396 ft. The true vertical depth is 11,854 ft with a bottomhole location in Section 26. Gauged on a 16/64-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 500 psi.
