According to IHS Markit, UpCurve Energy LLC has completed a horizontal Phantom field well in Reeves County (RRC Dist. 8), Texas. The #2H Stanley Johnson 19, which is the company’s first completion as operator, was tested pumping 875 bbl of 44.6-degree-gravity crude, 1.429 MMcf of gas and 4.228 Mbbl of water per day through fracture-stimulated perforations at 10,137-17,601 ft. The new producer was drilled to 17,695 ft from a surface location on a 800-acre Delaware Basin lease in Section 18, Block C8, PSL Survey, A-5723. The horizontal leg was drilled out of an 11,300-ft pilot hole and bottomed about 1.5 miles to the north in Section 28. UpCurve’s headquarters are in Houston.
