Description
WPX Energy Inc. completed a horizontal Phantom Field well in Reeves County (RRC Dist. 8), Texas. The #1H Chance State 4 was tested flowing 557 bbl of 43.9-degree-gravity crude, 1.022 MMcf of gas and 1.308 Mbbl of water per day. Production is from acidized and fracture-stimulated Wolfcamp at 10,360-15,002 ft. The discovery is in Section 5, Block 54 T7S, T&P RR Co Survey, A-172 and was drilled to 15,130 ft, 9,960 ft true vertical, and bottomed in Section 4. It was tested on a 1-in. choke and the flowing tubing pressure is 230 psi WPX is based in Tulsa.
