Description

According to IHS Markit, Cassidy American Resources LLC has filed permits for several three-well horizontal pads north of the Casper Arch in southeastern Johnson County, Wyo. The #16-21 1FH, #16-21 4NH and #16-21 9YH Verne Federal will be drilled from offsetting surface locations in Section 16 43n-79w. The tests will respectively target Frontier at 21,642 ft (11,174 ft true vertical), Niobrara at 21,074 ft (10,639 ft true vertical) and Mowry at 22,531 ft (11,959 ft true vertical). The 2-mile laterals will bottom to the south in Section 21. Within 1.5 miles to the east the company will drill #15-22 1F Meghan Federal, #15-22 4NH Meghan Federal and #15-22 9YH Meghan Federal in Section 10-43n-79w. The south-trending laterals will bottom in Section 22 with respective Frontier, Niobrara and Mowry objectives. Another one-half mile to the east, Cassidy has plans for its two-section Tap Federal lease. The ventures will also target Frontier, Niobrara and Mowry at #14-23 1FH Tap Federal, #14-23 4NH Tap Federal and #14-23 9YH Tap Federal from a site in Section 11-43n-79w. The laterals will bottom to the south in Section 23. One other Cassidy pad is currently planned for township 43n-79w. The #24-25 1FH Ripple Federal, #24-25 4N Ripple Federal and #24-25 9YH Ripple are slated for offsetting surface locations in Section 24. The two-mile laterals will bottom to the south in Section 25.
