Wave Petroleum Operating LLC has received drilling permits for eight horizontal Niobrara/Codell wildcats in Wyoming’s Goshen County. The Denver-Julesberg Basin ventures will be drilled (four in Niobrara and four in Codell) from a common drillpad in Section 19-19n-63w, generally southward to bottom-hole locations in Section 31-19n-63w. The #19-63-30-31-ACH, ANH, BCH, BNH, CCH, CNH, DCH and DNH Scheer-Federal will be drilled to total depths of 18,247 to 20,123 ft. The true vertical depths will range between 7,544 and 7,819 ft. There has been no drilling in Goshen County since late 2014. Wave’s headquarters are in Denver.
