Houston-based Apache Corp. completed two wells in Pecos County, (RRC Dist. 8A), Texas. The #3H King Hidalgo is in the Alpine High Field and the Middle Woodford producer was tested flowing 6.954 MMcf of gas and 72 bbl of 46-degree-gravity oil per day. It was drilled to 17,550 ft and is in Section 132, Block 11, GH&SA RR Co Survey, A-5866. The north-trending leg was drilled to 13,094 ft true vertical and production is from a 4,392-ft treated lateral. The offsetting #9H King Hidalgo was drilled to 16,570 ft, 13,209 ft true vertical. Production is from a 3,388-ft treated northeast-trending lateral in Middle Woodford. Initial daily production was 3.4 MMcf of gas and 24 bbl of 47-degree-gravity oil.
