Description
Two horizontal Cottage Grove producers in Ellis County, Okla., were reported by Panther Energy Co. LLC of Tulsa. The #2H-4 Pearlgirl is in Section 4-17n-22w and was initially tested on a 30/64-in. choke at a daily rate of 319 bbl. of 41-gravity oil, 260,000 cu. ft. of gas and 33 bbl. of water after fracture stimulation in 14 stages. The flowing tubing pressure was 160 psi and the well produces through perforations at 9,061-12,075 ft. The #2H-9 Kaiser is in Section 9-17n-22w and flowed 215 bbl. of 41-gravity oil with 523,000 cu. ft. of gas and 105 bbl. of water per day following a 10-stage fracturing. This well produces through ports between 9,153 and 11,030 ft. in an uncemented liner set to 11,115 ft. According to IHS Inc., the well was drilled to 11,428 ft., 8,658 ft. true vertical, and the flowing casing pressure was 260 psi through an open choke.
