Description

Two Wolfcamp producers were completed from an Eddy County, N.M. pad by Oxy USA Inc. The pad is in Section 33-23s-31e in Purple Sage Field. The #175H Sterling Silver MDP1 33-4 Federal Com was drilled to 21,975 ft (11,631 ft true vertical) and flowed 4,077 bbl of oil, 9.861 MMcf of gas and 1,053 bbl of oil per day. Tested on a 35/64-inch choke, the shut-in casing pressure was 1,114 psi after 63-stage fracturing at 11,797-21,857 ft. The #172H Sterling Silver MDP1 33-4 Federal Com produced 3,186 bbl of oil, with 5.727 MMcf of gas and 6,241 bbl of water daily from perforations at 12,016-21,976 ft. It was drilled to 22,186 ft (11,696 ft true vertical) and was tested after 62-stage acidizing and fracturing. Oxy USA is a subsidiary of Occidental Petroleum.
