Description

On the Carlsbad Shelf of the Permian Basin, Centennial Resources Production LLC has completed two wells from a pad in Lea County, N.M. According to IHS Markit, #501H Carne Asada State Com was tested on gas lift for 2.685 Mbbl of 42.4-degree-gravity crude, 2.524 MMcf of gas and 4.9 Mbbl of water per day from acid- and fracture-treated perforations at 10,548-18,053 ft in Second Bone Spring Sand. The Ojo Chiso Field well is in Section 7-22s-35e and was drilled to 18,115 ft. The lateral bottomed about 1.5 miles to the north in Section 6 with a true vertical depth of 10,196 ft. The offsetting and parallel #502H Carne Asada State Com flowed 1.809 Mbbl of 42.4-degree-gravity oil, 2.047 MMcf of gas and 4.925 Mbbl of water per day. Acid- and fracture-stimulated perforations are at 10,315-17,886 ft in Second Bone Spring Sand. It was drilled to 17,949 ft (10,028 ft true vertical).
