Description
Sydney-based Oil Search LLC is requesting authorization from the state to begin the development phase of the Nanushuk project within the North Slope’s Pikka Unit. The Nanushuk project will be targeting oil in the Alpine C and Nanushuk reservoirs. The development will include three drillsites (ND-A, ND-B, and ND-C) with up to 151 total production and injection wells. Nanushuk Drillsite A (ND-A) is proposed for Section 26-12n-6e, Umiat Meridian, and will include 43 wells; Nanushuk Drillsite B (ND-B) is slated for section 4-11n-6e and will include 55 wells; and Nanushuk Drillsite C (ND-C) is scheduled for section 36-11n-5e and will include 53 wells.
