Description
Sanare Energy Partners LLC, based in Houston, has recompleted an offshore Louisiana well from the J platform in the Eugene Island Block 246. The #1J OCS 00810 flowed gas from apparent Pleistocene perforations at 4,132-40 ft. It was vertically drilled to 6,700 and was plugged back to 4,148 ft before testing. The original well was drilled in 2008. At the time, the well was tested flowing 3.1 MMcf of gas per day from Montgomery (Pleistocene) at 4,603-12 ft. Output from the Eugene Island Block 266 Field well is about 15.1 Bcf of gas and 1.517 Mbbl of condensate.
