Description
A new gas discovery in the Nour North Sinai Concession in offshore Egypt was announced by Eni. The #1-Nour New Field Wildcat (NFW) was drilled to 5,914 m and hit 33 m of gross sandstone pay and an estimated gas column of 90 m in Oligocene Tineh. Additional testing is planned. Eni is the operator and holds 40%, and partners in the prospect are BP Plc, 25%, Mubadala Petroleum LLC, 20%, and Tharwa Petroleum Co., 15%
