Description

Two southern Powder River Basin were completed at a pad by Chesapeake Operating Inc. The wells were drilled in Section 25-34n-70w in Converse County, Wyo. The #23H Lebar 25-34-70 USA A NB initially flowed 699 bbl of 47.6-degree-gravity oil, 1.288 MMcf of gas and 2.081 Mbbl of water per day. Production is from a lateral in Niobrara drilled to the northeast to 20,819 ft with a bottom-hole location in Section 13-34n-70w. The true vertical depth is 10,539 ft. It was tested on a 30/64-in. choke after 35-stage fracturing between 11,369 and 20,755 ft. The #21H Lebar 25-34-70 USA A TR produced 253 bbl of oil, 1.381 MMcf of gas and 456 bbl of water daily. Production is from a Turner lateral drilled to the northwestward to 17,250 ft at a bottom-hole location in Section 13-34n-70w. The true vertical depth is 10,762 ft. It was tested on a 20/64-in. choke after a 13-stage fracturing between 11,182 and 17,185 ft. Chesapeake is based in Oklahoma City.
