Bison Oil & Gas reported a Niobrara discovery in Colorado’s Weld County. The #14A-13-18-5 Boomslang Fed 8-60 was tested flowing 233 bbl of 35° API oil, with 124,000 cu ft of gas and 708 bbl of water per day. The venture is in Section 14-8n-60w and is in Clay Basket Field. Drilled to 14,274 ft, the true vertical depth is 6,167 ft. It was tested on a 24/64-inch choke with a flowing tubing pressure of 265 psi. Production is from a fractured and perforated zone at 6,699-14,169 ft. Bison’s headquarters are in Denver.
