Bison Oil & Gas LLC has completed a horizontal Niobrara producer in the Denver-Julesburg Basin in Arapahoe County, Colo. The #15-16-2BHZ Bison 4-64 is in Section 15-4s-64w and produced an average of about 538 bbl of oil, 630 Mcf of gas and 210 bbl of water per day. The well was drilled to the west to a proposed depth of 15,026 ft, 7,593 ft true vertical. It bottomed in Section 16-4s-64w. The Denver-based company has disclosed no completion details, however, the well reportedly was acidized and fracture-stimulated.
