Description
Newfield Exploration Co. announced results from two Okarche North-Woodford discoveries drilled at a pad in Section 28-17n-8w in Kingfisher County, Okla. The #1708 5H-28X Barton Jr was drilled to 18,593 ft, 8,812 ft true vertical. It was tested flowing 1.31 Mbbl of 34-degree-gravity oil, 11 Mcf of gas and 597 bbl of water per day from perforations at 8,688-18,837 ft. Gauged on a 44/64-in. choke, the flowing tugging pressure was 280 psi. The #1708 6H-28X Barton Jr produced 1.161 Mbbl of oil, 1.097 MMcf of gas and 1,277 Mbbl of water per day. It was drilled to 18,593, 8,812 true vertical and was tested on a 56/64-in. choke with a flowing tubing pressure of 280 psi. Production is from acidized and fractured perforations at 8,891-10,039 ft.
