Royale Energy Inc. reported a new pool gas discovery in California’s Sacramento Basin. Located in Section 8-3n-3e in Sacramento County, #8-1 CRC RVGU intersected a 100-net-ft section in Rio Vista Field. According to the San Diego-based company, the discovery well was vertically drilled to 6,700 ft and hit gas reserves in several sands. Additional completion information is not available. A second well is being directionally drilled from the same drillpad at #8-2 CRC RVGU.
