Description
A Bohai Bay gas discovery was announced by China National Offshore Oil Corporation at exploration well #22-1-2 Bozhong. The venture was drilled in the southern slope of the Bozhong Sag in south-central Bohai in about 25 m of water. The Block 22-2 well was drilled to 4,611 m and hit a gas reservoir with a total thickness of about 92 m. During a production test, 14.2 MMcf/d was produced at the wellhead. China National Offshore Oil Corporation is the operator of #22-1-2 Bozhong with 100% interest.
