Description
Occidental Petroleum subsidiary Anadarko Petroleum has scheduled a new development test in the producing Lucius/Hadrian North Field. According to IHS Markit, #9 OCS G21447 will be drilled from a site in the southern portion of Keathley Canyon Block 875 and bottomed to the south in Block 919. Water depth in the area is 6,800 ft. The Lucius project includes portions of Keathley Canyon blocks 874; 875; 918 and 919. Field production currently comes from nine active wells that produce crude from a range of Pliocene and Miocene zones at 16,940-21,065 ft. First production was reported in January 2015.
