Description

Silver Hill Energy Partners completed a new Delaware Basin oil discovery in Loving County (RRC Dist. 8), Texas. The #1 Rudd Draw 26-18 was drilled to 9,788 ft and is on a 643.3-acre lease in Section 18, Block C26, PSL Survey, A-1038. It pumped 83 bbl of 36-degree-gravity oil, 73 Mcf of gas and 1.5 Mbbl of water per day. Production is from acid- and fracture-treated perforations in Brushy Canyon at 7,511-8,945 and Bone Spring at 7,511-8,945 ft. Earlier in 2014, Silver Hill's #1 Rudd Draw 75-10 in Section 10, Block 75, PSL Survey, A-1246, was tested on pump flowing 96 bbl of 36.8-degree-gravity oil, 69 Mcf of gas and 1.1 Mbbl of water per day. The 9,145-ft Brushy Canyon discovery produces from acid- and fracture-stimulated perforations at 7,540-8,971 ft. Silver Hill's headquarters are in Dallas.
