An extended-reach horizontal Mowry Shale discovery in the southern Powder River Basin initially flowed 377 bbl of 49.5-degree-gravity oil, 2.201 MMcf of gas and 2.835 Mbbl of water per day. EOG Resources Inc.’s #272-3130H Marys Draw is in Section 31-40n-72w of Converse County, Wyo. It is producing from a lateral drilled from 9,694 ft northward to 21,371 ft. It bottomed in Section 30 and the true vertical depth is 11,840 ft. It was tested through a 22/64-in. choke after 39-stage fracturing between 12,329 and 21,168 ft with a flowing casing pressure of 4,250 psi.
