Description

Anschutz Oil Co. has completed Mowry and Niobrara discoveries on a Section 3-42n-71w drillpad in Campbell County, Wyo. According to IHS Markit, #4271-3-10-14W MH Gracie-Fee initially flowed 202 bbl of 42.8-degree-gravity oil, 1.478 MMcf of gas and 2.856 Mbbl of water per day. Production is from a lateral in Mowry Shale extending southward to 19,975 ft (10,449 ft true vertical) at a bottom-hole location in Section 10-42n-71w. It was tested on a 42/64-in. choke following fracture stimulation in 30 stages between 10,651 and 19,664 ft. The #4271-3-27-3W NH Gracie-Federal flowed 605 bbl of 39.9-degree-gravity oil, 773 Mcf of gas and 573 bbl of water per day from Niobrara B. It was tested on a 22/64-in. choke after an 18-stage fracturing between 9,590 and 15,194 ft. The lateral in the Niobrara B zone was drilled to the north to 17,572 ft (8,983 ft true vertical).
