Description

Two Dunn County, N.D., wells in Cedar Coulee Field were completed at a drillpad in Section 28-147n-96w by Oklahoma City-based Continental Resources Inc. The #7-28H Carus is a Middle Bakken well that was tested flowing 2.041 Mbbl of oil, 2.675 MMcf of gas and 1.349 Mbbl of water per day. It was drilled to 21,937 ft, 11,378 ft true vertical, and bottomed in Section 21. It was tested on a 24/64-in. choke and the flowing tubing pressure was 2,182 psi and the flowing casing pressure was 2,182 psi. It is producing from fractured perforations in 11,693-21,937 ft. The #12-28HSL1 Carus produced 1.688 Mbbl of oil with 2.216 MMcf of gas and 1.466 Mbbl of water per day from Upper Three Forks. The 22,018-ft well has a true vertical depth of 11,365 ft. Gauged on a 28/64-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 1,518 psi and the flowing casing pressure was 199 psi. Production is from a fractured zone at 11,793-22,018 ft.
