Mewbourne Oil Co. completed a western Anadarko Basin well that initially flowed 381 bbl of 41-degree-gravity oil per day, along with 522 Mcf of gas and 879 bbl of water from Marmaton. The #27/38 M002BG Darnell-Pshigoda is in Section 27, Block 13, T&NO Survey, A-371 in Ochiltree County (RRC Dist. 9), Texas. It was tested on an open choke producing through fracture-stimulated perforations between 7,176 and 13,882 ft. The flowing tubing pressure was 180 psi. The 13,989-ft prospect was drilled to the south about 1.5 miles with a bottom-hole location in Section 38, A-641. The true vertical depth is 6,878 ft. Mewbourne is based in Tyler, Texas.
