Mallard Exploration completed two wells in Section 31-9n-59w at its West Pony prospect in Colorado’s Weld County. The #31-32-1HN Shull Fed well was targeting Niobrara B with a 6,849-ft effective lateral. It produced 1,060 bbl of oil equivalent per day (86% oil). It was drilled to 13,597 ft and the true vertical depth is 6,311 ft. The second well, #2HC Shull Fed, targeted Codell. It was completed with a 6,834-ft effective lateral and flowed at a 24-hour rate of 822 bbl of oil equivalent (94% oil). It was drilled to 13,554 ft and the true vertical depth is 6,159 ft.
