Description
A vertical Lower Hosston oil well was completed in Mississippi’s Stringer Field by Roundtree & Associates. The Jasper County workover, #2 Viersen 29-13, is in Section 29-1n-11e. It flowed 335 bbl of 38° API crude, 273,000 cu ft of gas and 45 bbl of water per day through perforations at 13,762-13,770 ft. It was tested on a 12/64-n. choke and the flowing tubing pressure was 1,950 psi. The well was initially perforated in Cotton Valley at 14,787-15,168 ft and flowed just 5 bbl of crude during a production test. Drilled to 15,255 ft, the venture was plugged back to 13,774 ft for completion in Lower Hosston.
