Description
Southern Oil of Louisiana announced results from a discovery Breton Sound Block 45 in Plaquemines Parish, La. The state waters venture, #2 SL 19391, initially flowed 180 bbl of 26° API oil, with 1.299 MMcf of gas and 7,216 bbl of water from Bigenerina Humblei during a 24-hour test. It was tested on a 16/64-inch choke and the flowing tubing pressure was 7,459 psi and the shut-in casing pressure was 8,432 psi. Production is from a perforated zone between 12,826 ft and 12,942 ft.
