Description
According to IHS Markit, XTO Energy Inc. has released preliminary test data from the first long-reach horizontal producer the Mississippian Sycamore in the Ardmore Basin. The #1-6H31X30 Walker is I Section 6-4s-2e of Carter County, Okla. It produced 492 bbl of 43-degree-gravity oil, 3.08 MMcf of gas and 1.44 Mbbl of water per day on a 64/64-in. choke. Production is from an acidized and fractured lateral at 9,697-19,942 ft that was drilled north 2 miles across Section 31-3s-2e and bottomed in Section 30-3s-2e. It was drilled to 20,086 ft and the true vertical depth is 8,161 ft. According to XTO, the Sycamore section along the wellbore is 350-400 ft thick. XTO is a subsidiary of ExxonMobil.
