Description

An Eagle Ford Shale discovery was reported by Penn Virginia Corp. in Lavaca County (RRC Dist. 2), Texas. The Eagleville Field well, #2H Lager Unit, produced 1.29 Mbbl of 48-degree-gravity oil, 2.537 MMcf of gas and 940 bbl of water per day from perforations at 12,356-19,185 ft. Gauged on a 22/64-in. choke, the flowing casing pressure was 2,164 psi. The 19,760-ft well has a true vertical depth of 12,453 ft and is in Byrd Lockhart Survey, A-26. It bottomed 1.5 miles to the southwest. Penn Virginia is based in Radnor, Pa.
