Ultra Petroleum Corp. announced results from another completion at its Warbonnet drillpad in Sublette County, Wyo. The #9-23-A-3H Warbonnet initially flowed 10.834 MMcf of gas, 146 bbl of oil/condensate and 4.445 Mbbl of water per day. The extended-reach well is producing from a Lance lateral that was drilled to the east extending from 11,881-22,745 ft (11,795 ft true vertical). The drillpad is in Section 24-30n-108w and it bottomed in Section 20-30n-107w. It was tested on an open choke after 34-stage fracturing between 13,010 and 22,100 ft with a flowing casing pressure of 1,109 psi. Ultra’s headquarters are in Houston.
