A Haynesville Shale gas well in Bienville Parish, La., was completed by Comstock Oil & Gas at #1-Alt Elva 25-36HC. It initially flowed 34.753 MMcf of gas per day from acid- and fracture-treated perforations at 12,125-21,956 ft. The Lake Bistineau Field well was drilled in Section 25-15n-10w and bottomed about 2 miles to the south in Section 36. The total depth is 22,000 ft, and the true vertical depth is 12,105 ft. Gauged on a 30/64-inch choke, the shut-in casing pressure was 8,130 psi.
