Description

Two horizontal Codell producers were completed from a drillpad by Kaiser-Francis Oil Co. in the northern Denver-Julesburg Basin. The pad is in Section 4-15n-65w of Laramie County, Wyo. The #4-0403H Shelby was tested flowing 509 bbl of oil, 335 Mcf of gas and 1.245 Mbbl of water per day. Production is from a horizontal lateral in Codell extending from 9,197 ft east-southeastward to 19,168 ft with a bottom-hole location in Section 3-15n-65w. The true vertical depth is 8,590 ft. It was tested on a 30/64-in. choke following 40-stage fracturing between 9,219 and 18,971 ft. The #3-0506H Rheeti initially flowed 329 bbl of oil, 181 Mcf of gas and 1.613 Mbbl of water per day. Production is from a horizontal Codell lateral extending from 9,224 ft west-southwestward to 18,955 ft, 8,795 ft true vertical, and bottomed in Section 6-15n-65w. It was tested on a 24/64-in. choke after a 40-stage fracturing between 9,135 and 18,768 ft. Kaiser-Francis is based in Tulsa.
