On the western flank of the Powder River Basin, ATX Energy Partners LLC completed a wildcat Niobrara venture that initially flowed 336 bbl of 42.5-degree-gravity oil, 354 Mcf of gas and 566 bbl of water per day. The Austin-based company’s #36-2NH Grizzly Bear is in Section 36-47n-80w of Johnson County, Wyo. Production is from a lateral extending from 11,253 ft southward to of 15,961 ft and a true vertical depth of 11,812 ft. It was tested on a 28/64-in. choke after 20-stage fracturing between 11,843 and 15,789 ft.
