Description

A North Park Basin-Niobrara discovery was announced by SandRidge Exploration & Production. The #1-3H Beaver Creek 0881 is in Section 10-7n-81w of Jackson County, Colo. It initially pumped 206 bbl of 40-degree-gravity oil with 200 Mcf of gas and 2.377 Mbbl of water per day. Production is from a lateral in Niobrara extending north-northeastward to 16,462 ft with a bottom-hole location in Section 34-8n-81w. The true vertical depth is 4,893 ft and it was tested after 41-stage fracturing (perf-and-plug) in between 6,216 and 16,330 ft. SandRidge’s headquarters are in Oklahoma City.
