Description
Two Haynesville Shale tests have been scheduled by Houston-based Indigo Minerals LLC in Sabine Parish, La. The San Miguel Creek Field ventures are #1 PAV 13&24-9-11H and #2 PAV 13&24-9-11H, and they will be drilled from offsetting surface locations in Section 13-9n-11w. The laterals are expected to bottom about 1 mile to the south in Section 24. Each horizontal Haynesville test is permitted to 22,000 ft with true vertical depths of about 15,000 ft. Nearby production is at #1 Evans 4-9-11H, which was completed in 2012 flowing 17.8 MMcf of gas per day from Haynesville at 14,466-18,318 ft. The #1 Evans and several other horizontal wells in the area were acquired in Indigo Minerals’ purchase of Chesapeake Operating assets in the area.
