Description
Petrobras found hydrocarbons in a well of Block C-M-657 in the pre-salt region in the Campos Basin. The #1-BRSA-1376D-RJS (Naru) was drilled in 2,892 m of water and verified hydrocarbons in carbonate reservoirs of the pre-salt section. Currently, well data is being analyzed to better assess the potential that will direct the exploratory activities in the area. Block C-M-657 is in the southern portion of the Campos Basin. Petrobras is the operator of the block and holds a 30% stake in partnership with Exxon Mobil (40%) and Equinor (30%).
