Description
Fort Worth, Texas-based Range Resources Corp. has completed the second horizontal gas well in North Louisiana’s Vernon Field. Located in Jackson Parish, La., #1 Graves 2-35 H produced 3.774 MMcf of gas and 930 bbl of water per day from Cotton Valley. It was drilled to 19,153 ft, 12,929 ft true vertical, in Section 2-16n-3w and bottomed to the north in Section 35-17n-3w. Production is from perforations at 12,908-19,024 ft. It was tested on a 31/64-in. choke and the flowing casing pressure was 2,524 psi.
