IHS Markit reported that Newfield Production Co. has completed a horizontal Uteland Buttes (Lower Green River) producer in the Uinta Basin that initially pumped 1.814 Mbbl of oil with 914 Mcf of gas and 1.623 Mbbl of water per day. The #2-14 3-2-14-23-1H Bruce UT is in Section 14-3s-2w, Duchesne County, Utah. Production is from a fractured lateral in Uteland Buttes that was drilled about 2 miles to the south to a 19,210 ft at a bottom-hole location in Section 23-3s-2w. The planned true vertical depth was 8,280 ft. Further details are not yet available.
