Description
IHS Markit reported that Casper-based True Oil LLC has completed a horizontal Mission Canyon (Madison) producer in McKenzie County, N.D. The #42-36-36-1MH Williston Basin-State is in Section 36-148n-101w and it pumped 164 bbl of 54-degree-gravity oil/condensate, 102 Mcf of gas and 90 bbl of water per day. Production is from a lateral extending from 9,965 ft southwestward to 18,480 ft, It bottomed in Section 1-147n-101w with a true vertical depth of 9,709 ft. Production is from perforations between 17,380 and 18,340 ft. The completion is within 2 miles to the east-southeast of Red Wing Creek Field, which was discovered by True in 1972. The field's unique Madison structure is thought to have been created by a Triassic-age meteor impact.
