Description
EXCO Resources Inc. reported a horizontal Haynesville completion in San Augustine County (RRC Dist. 6), Texas. The Carthage Field completion, #1 Red River 365A, was tested flowing 21.2 million cu. ft. of gas and 1,060 bbl. of water per day through Haynesville perforations at 13,656-17,585 ft. Gauged on a 20/64-in. choke, the flowing and shut-in tubing pressures were 8,250 psi and 9,610 psi, respectively. The new producer was drilled to 18,011 ft., 13,326 ft. true vertical, on a 650-acre lease in Harding Green Survey, A-365, and bottomed a mile to the south-southeast beneath Phillip Sexton survey, A-280. The well was initially permitted by Common Resources LLC. EXCO is based in Dallas.
