Description
Oklahoma City-based Chesapeake Operating Inc. completed a horizontal well targeting bypassed Hunton reserves in Oklahoma’s Okeene Northwest Field. The Major County venture, #3H Dupus 10-20-12, is in Section 3-20n-12w. It produced 139 bbl of 35-degree-gravity oil, 87 Mcf of gas and 2 Mbbl of water per day during a test run on artificial lift. Production is from acidized and fractured perforations between 9,450 and 13,868 ft in a south lateral extending to Section 10-20n-12w. It was drilled to 13,974 ft and the true vertical depth is 8,612 ft.
