Description
Marathon Oil Corp. completed a Bakken well and an Upper Three Forks well from a drillpad in Section 34-152n-93w in Mountrail County, N.D. The #34-34TFH Jackie-USA initially flowed 5.666 Mbbl of oil, 5.162 MMcf of gas and 4.91 Mbbl of water per day. It was tested on a 60/64-in. choke after 45-stage plug-and-perf fracturing between 11,122 and 20,641 ft in Upper Three Forks. It was drilled to the north to 20,780 ft, 10,676 ft true vertical, and bottomed in Section 27-152n-93w. The #34-34H Hal-USA produced 5.156 Mbbl of oil with 3.507 MMcf of gas and 2.062 Mbbl of water per day from the Middle Bakken. It was drilled northward to 20,704 ft, 10,584 ft true vertical, and bottomed in Section 27-152n-93w. It was tested on a 64/64-in. choke after 45-stage fracturing between 10,947 and 20,564 ft. The wells are on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation in Reunion Bay Field.
