Description
Marathon Oil Co. has completed a Bakken and a Three Forks producer on a common drillpad in irregular Section 4-148n-95w in Dunn County, N.D. The #42-5TFH Ryan flowed 3.438 Mbbl of oil, 4.384 MMcf of gas and 3.104 Mbbl of water per day from Upper Three Forks. It was drilled to 21,954 ft, 11,261 ft true vertical, with a bottomhole location in Section 6-148n-95w. It was tested on a 64/64-in. choke after 45-stage fracturing between 11,854 and 21,817 ft. The #41-5H Struthers-USA initially flowed 2.774 Mbbl of oil, 3.049 MMcf of gas and 2.201 Mbbl of water per day. It was tested on a 32/64-in. choke in a horizontal Middle Bakken interval at 11,950-21,958 ft after 45-stage fracturing. The lateral extends from 11,898 ft west-northwestward to 22,085 ft, 11,187 ft true vertical, and bottomed in Section 6-148n-95w.
