Description
A Haynesville Shale producer was reported by Dallas-based EXCO Resources Inc. along the southern edge of Carthage Field in Nacogdoches County (RRC Dist. 6), Texas. The #1H Williamson SU flowed 11.689 MMcf of gas and 256 bbl of water per day through fractured perforations at 15,297-21,117 ft. It was tested on a 16/64-in. choke with a flowing tubing pressure of 9,817 psi and a shut-in tubing pressure of 10,369 psi. It was drilled to 21,289-ft and is on an 824-acre East Texas lease in Section 25, I&GN RR Co, A-643, The well bottomed about 1.5 miles to the south under Section 4 at a true vertical depth of 15,087 ft.
