San Antonio-based Zachry Exploration has completed a Hackberry gas well in Louisiana that extends southern Jefferson Davis Parish’s Lake Arthur Field about 2 miles to the northwest. The #1 Adonis Martin Jr. flowed 2.194 MMcf of gas, 432 bbl of condensate and 5.079 Mbbl of water per day through perforations at 12,794-12,810 ft. The 13,360-ft well is in Section 17-10s-4w. Gauged on an 8/64-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 8,784 psi and the shut-in tubing pressure was 8,896 psi. The nearest wells in Lake Arthur Field are 2 miles southeast of Zachry Exploration’s completion.
