Drilling Activity Summary
Description
A Granite Wash well was re-completed by Tulsa-based Seek Energy LLC in an isolated field in Gray County (RRC Dist. 10), Texas. The #8 Spearman 23 is in Section 23, Block 3, I&GN Survey, A-336. It flowed 537 Mcf of gas and two bbl of 60-degree-gravity condensate per day, with no water. Production is from untreated perforations at 7,215-24 ft. The venture was tested on a 10/64-in. choke with 966-psi of flowing tubing pressure and 1,752 psi of shut-in tubing pressure. The 9,209-ft Hoover Northeast Field well was originally completed in 2003 by Newfield Exploration Co. flowing 126 Mcf of gas and one bbl per day of condensate from four Des Moines Granite Wash intervals between 7,832 and 8,900 ft and Ellenburger at 9,062-67 ft. It was shut-in in 2008.
