The horizontal venture is on a 155.5-acre lease in Thomas Quevedo Survey, A-18. It bottomed about 2 miles to the west. The total depth is 18,220 ft and the true vertical depth is 8,106 ft. Gauged on a 16/64-in. choke, the flowing casing pressure was 2,613 psi. Valance is based in Kingwood, Texas.
