Description
A horizontal Haynesville Shale gas test in the southwestern portion of Sligo Field has been scheduled by GEP Hayneville LLC. The Bossier Parish, La., well, #1 KHL Minerals 16-21H, will be in Section 16-17n-12w and it will bottom about 1 mile to the south in Section 21. The proposed depth is 19,200 ft and the proposed true vertical depth is 11,900 ft. GEP operates two Haynesville gas wells about 1 mile to the west at #1 and #2-Alt Lucky Family 17-20HC, which were originally completed by Encana Corp. in 2014. GEP is based in The Woodlands, Texas.
