Drilling Activity Summary
Description
Three new horizontal Des Moines Granite Wash producers were announced by Denver-based FourPoint Energy LLC in the western Anadarko Basin in Wheeler County (RRC Dist. 10), Texas. The #3H Bryant 21X40C, Section 20, Block A-3, H&GN Survey, A-8556, was tested on a 42/64-in. choke flowing 12.6 MMcf of gas, 358 bbl of 60-degree-gravity condensate and 123 bbl of water per day. Production is from a fracture-stimulated zone between 13,215 and 20,621 ft. The shut-in tubing pressure was 2,597 psi and the flowing tubing pressure was 2,164 psi. The Stiles Ranch well was drilled west about one-third of a mile in the section, then about 1.5 miles north across the Section 21, A-205 with a total depth of 20,084 ft, 12,780 ft true vertical. About 2 miles to the west FourPoint completed two more wells from a drillpad in Section 2, Block A-3, H&GN Survey, A-8267. The #210HB Miller was tested flowing 9.94 MMcf of gas, 300 bbl of 61-degree-gravity condensate and 155 bbl of water per day. Production is from a fractured zone at 13,325-17,645 ft. The 17,722-ft well was drilled south across the section and the true vertical depth is 12,893 ft. Gauged on a 45/64-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 1,434 psi and the shut-in tubing pressure was 1,793 psi. About 40 ft to the west, #209HA Miller recovered gas flowing at an initial rate of 7.57 MMcf with 201 bbl of condensate and 180 bbl of water per day during testing on a 45/64-in. choke. It has a parallel lateral drilled about 2,100 ft to the west and was drilled to 17,734 ft with a true vertical depth of 12,863 ft. Production is from a fracture-stimulated zone at 13,175-17,505 ft.
